Parking

On street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. The key, is actually parking on the street. This means cars can’t be half on the street and half on the sidewalk, or parked in yards. Violations will be issued and vehicles towed.

The city also has rules about parking commercial vehicles in residential neighborhoods.

Inoperative, junked and/or unlicensed vehicle stored outside, or vehicle parked on the lawn. No auto parts or outdoor storage of other inappropriate materials. Motor vehicles (including motorcycles) parked on lawn or yard walk.

Commercial and business equipment stored on residential property; no trucks rated over one ton. see https://www.daytonohio.gov/235/Neighborhood-Yard-Standards
